  Great sushi in the area - we typically have it delivered to Manhasset, and the delivery is always very quick, and if you let them know that you are paying cash, they will give you a discount on the total bill.
  
  That being said - we haven't had any rolls that we didn't like from Aki. The sushi pizza is a great appetizer, the japanese fried rice with beef is amazing - i could eat that every day and never get sick of it. The salmon sashimi is great quality, the alaska rolls are my go-to standard roll and it is also done really well. If you like tempura, the Spring Jamie roll is a good choice. The crazy tuna and crazy salmon rolls are also great.
  
  All-in-all, great choice for great sushi in the neighborhood. I have not dined-in yet, but it's easily part of my take-out rotation.

  My impression when I walk into Aki it wasn't the greatest, may  be because it was dark or the decor look more like a night club than a restaurant but because I was there by a friend we start to talk to the owner and we let him order for us ( also because of my poor knowledge on Japanese cuisine ) and the experience was great , all sushi taste amazing , I also order the filet mignon that I didn't care for but my cousin enjoyed, in fact we love so much that we long to go back , again we left up to the boss and he nail it again , the only thing he forgot what we order previously and send a bigger plate of sushi which obviously cost more , it was definitely worth.

  Very good food, nice atmosphere. Food a little pricey but worth it. The delivery service is great, I frequently call in specially during cold or rain.
  Update: our last 2 delivery were a big disappointment. My husband threw up about 10 minutes after eating his sushi (white fish). The chicken teriyaki is good, but the miso soup wasn't fresh. Very very disappointed.

  this is most definitely the best sushi place in port washington. all the staff are amazing and delivery is always on time (or early)! Food is always delicious and love going here!

  This review is for a large sushi takeout order. There were about 8 of us eating and home and we ordered for delivery.
  
  - It was fairly quick for them to deliver; about 35-40 mins, on a Saturday evening
  - nothing was missing and it was a hefty order
  - we had a mix of items to share like the sushi platter for two, the sashimi platter, California roll dinner, about 5-6 different maki rolls, Kani salads, duck crepe wrap app, etc.
  - sushi and sashimi pieces were fresh and decently sized. For a normal sushi restaurant, it was good enough!
  - rolls were tasty too and did not have too much rice
  
  Pricing wise it's fair, and they have certain deals if you pay w cash for takeout or delivery.
  
  I would say not amazing sushi but it's pretty standard and a solid choice for take out in the area..
